1. What can I do in summer?

You can do more at the Rover Chalet than ski in Winter. During summer you can bring your mountain bike and go for a ride, hike around the beautiful high planes area, or just laze around in the sun. See the Summer Activities page form more information.

2. Where is the Chalet, and how do I get there?

The Bogong Rover Chalet is located on the Bogong High Plains just out from Falls Creek. During the Summer its possible to drive a car to the gate at the top of Cope Hut. Vehicles are not allowed past this point, so you'll need to walk around 1km to the chalet with your gear.

3. When can I go?

The chalet is available for summer bookings from Cup Weekend until the end of April. Not every weekend can be booked, as the Management Committee uses some of these weekends for working bees, although feel free to come along and help. Contact the bookings officer for more information on 0407 CHALET.
