Week 1 2004 Snow Venture

We have just finished the first winter party for 2004 with excellent snow conditions. More than half a metre of snow at the chalet, and continuous cover over the High Plains, even through Landfords Gap!

Week 1 consisted of 12 Venturers, 2 leaders, 1 Rover and 2 Ex Rovers. Because of the weather (snow, snow, and more snow, with a bit of wind) we spent week close to the chalet, but with the home slope and surrounding hills completely covered, it didn't effect our weeks skiing. We skied and boarded every day!

If you have been waiting for snow to fall before booking your winter party, now is the time to book, weeks 6, 7 and still need a few more bookings to open, and with the base of snow we no have, skiing in August should be fantastic. And Venturers, if you missed out on this Snow Venture, we are running another in week 13 (first week of the September school holidays).
